A successful website or print piece hinges on so much more than merely aesthetics. Careful analysis of consumer wants and needs coupled with strategic execution is critical to the delivery of a successful product. At Gravitate, our methodology marries targeted marketing goals with the best that design has to offer.
We have 4 major phases within a project life cycle:
These high-level phases all depend on numerous deliverables and milestones to move the project forward. Our seasoned team of project managers are here to help guide you through the process with clarity and ease.
There’s no such thing as too much information. That’s why during the Discovery process, we make it our mission to attack you from all sides with questions: ![]()
We want to get to the heart of what makes your offering a stand-out, what you hope to gain from the project, and most importantly, why your audience should care. We ask all the tough questions. Then we LISTEN. After that, we're ready to proceed with Conceptualization.
The inspiration for our work comes from many places, but the heart of our design is always driven by your goals for the project. Armed with this information, we roll up our sleeves, we do our research, and then we try to think of creative solutions to common problems. Along with that, we tackle the following:
We gather our intelligence and then execute. It’s not the sexiest process, but it’s smart and efficient. That’s how we believe in working. Once the creative design is fleshed out, we move on to Implementation.
Ideas are only half of the equation. During this phase, we make sure that your vision comes to light and that every step of the production meets the Gravitate standard of quality.
During this phase we will do the following: ![]()
Also, during this phase, our Usability Engineer will go through the site to ensure that we have met our internal standards of making the site "dirt simple" to use. Once all of this is completed, we will assign a Quality Assurance resource to pour through the site making sure that everything works impeccably. We are now ready to enter our Deployment Phase.
The fourth and final phase of your project is the Deployment Phase. Whether you have a print piece or an ecommerce website, our process is similar. We double-check our work, get final approvals, and make sure that the mechanics of what we’ve produced are ready for prime-time. ![]()
For websites, we thoroughly test, test, test to assure a flawless user experience prior to go-live. We also have our Quality Assurance department give the stamp of approval for meeting project requirements, usability and technical standards, and design excellence.
Before we send the final product out into the real world, we’ll suggest ways to get the most out of your launch, including ideas around search engine optimization or future items to consider.
